Food Collection

We partner with St Mary Magdalen on their Food Pantry program. Padre Serra parishioners place donated food items in the large wooden collection bins at the church entrances.

Our responsibilities as Vincentians include collecting food from the church bins on a weekly basis and transporting the donated items to the Food Pantry garage, located behind St.
Mary Magdalen Chapel. The items are bagged and distributed to neighbors in need. The Food Pantry is open every Monday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

Additionally, we host a special canned food drive at the Padre Serra Trunk or Treat. It is great fun & very rewarding to collect and transport the food items that are so generously donated
by our parishioners and their little “witches & goblins”!

We gratefully accept donations of non-perishable food items. Please place your donated items in the large wooden collection bins located at the church entrances.
