Begins January through May
We have a comprehensive 5-month process to prepare adults to be confirmed. The bishop celebrates confirmation at the parish usually in May.
Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist are called the Sacraments of Initiation because they are the foundation of the Christian life. Through these sacraments, we are immersed in the mystery of Jesus’ saving death and resurrection. To be a fully initiated member of the Catholic Church, one needs to have celebrated all three of these sacraments. For various reasons, some adults have not yet celebrated Confirmation.
