Living the Paschal Mystery: Our Holy Hope

A retreat is a personal encounter with God, a sacred time that brings renewal of body, mind and spirit.

Using communal prayer, Mass, conferences, silence and solitude, and nature, this year's retreat will focus on the Paschal Mystery - the life, passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

About the retreat center
Guided by Mater Delarosa's retreat team, this weekend retreat is silent. It includes conferences, time for personal prayer in your private room, the chapel, and the center’s 20 acres of gardens, including their historic Stations of the Cross. Their team offers the Mass, spiritual direction, and the opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Padre Serra women will join other groups of women from parishes in Southern California.

Married Couples Retreat

The Catechism teaches that "Christ’s grace in the Sacrament of Marriage protects the essential purposes of marriage: the good of the couple and the generation and education of children. These purposes are protected and fostered by the permanence of the marriage bond and the mutual fidelity of spouses”  (United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, 283).

All couples are encouraged to participate in this opportunity to enrich and strengthen your marriage, sacrament and relationship with one another and God.
