Are you called to be a sponsor?

We currently are blessed to have quite a few new people seeking to become Catholic. We would like to introduce them to parishioners who can welcome them and make them feel at home in our Padre Serra community.

The role of parish sponsor is not the same as godparent or Confirmation sponsor. A parish sponsor is a friendly face in a sea of strangers at Sunday Mass; someone to sit with at the pancake breakfast or an adult formation evening; a good listener who encourages the seeker on his or her spiritual journey.

​Parish sponsors need not be saints or theologians! You are simply ordinary parishioners who give witness by sharing your everyday experiences as Catholics. ​Please consider serving in this vital ministry.
