It Ain’t Heavy with the Holy Spirit​

When he woke up after six days, he could not talk or move. Like any parent, his mother was distressed. This stress was compounded by the fact that she could not afford to place him in a nursing home...

Today’s gospel is Jesus’ farewell to the apostles and his promise to remain close to them. It’s
our promise too: we are not alone for Jesus gives us an advocate, the Holy Spirit who guides and strengthens us. Full of hope and promise, today’s readings remind us of a God who is always near and how faith grows when we live in love, speak with courage, and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. How have you experienced God’s presence? How does the Holy Spirit work in your life?
