November is full of saint feast days to celebrate! Beginning with All Saints Day, we also honor St. Martin de Porres, St. Charles Borromeo, St Andrew Dung-Lac, and many more.
Everyone is invited to journey with the 23 portraits of saints on display in our church from November 12-20 and learn more about their diversity and impact on our world. These portraits were introduced at the Archdiocesan Presbyterian Day, attended by nearly 500 priests, and now make their way throughout our archdiocese, spending time in parishes in each of the five pastoral regions. Their presence reminds us that as Catholic Christians, we proclaim the beauty of God’s creation in one human race rich in diversity of color and language and physical features and ethnic cultures. Knowing that Jesus prayed to his Father “...that all may be one,” we believe we are involved in building a unified kingdom of God in our midst by embracing all God’s people as our brothers and sisters. After you have visited the exhibition, would you please share your experience by emailing [email protected]. The Archdiocesan organizing team would like to publish visitors’ experiences on their website in January. Portraits:
