The history of racism is something that few of us learned about in our education growing up. It is essential to understand this history because it sheds new light on the racial injustices we encounter today. Presented through the lens of the Christian faith, this small group formation is an eight-session program plus retreat that guides participants in telling the truth about the history of racism in the United States, that we might work toward true reconciliation with God and restoration with one another.

Required Reading:
  • The Color of Compromise Jemar Tisby
  • Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome Dr. Joy DeGruy
  • The Angela Project Presents 40 Days of Prayer Cheri L. Mills
